Wow, what a weekend.
We stayed at the Best Western – King Charles
Inn on Meeting Street in downtown Charleston. They
have the friendliest staff I've ever encountered at
a hotel. The lobby was beautiful and the lobby bar.let's
just say the bartender is now a good friend of mine.
The hotel is really close to all the things Charleston
has to offer. I hung out by the pool, which overlooks
meeting street so I could watch the people stroll by
as I had a drink or two, or three, or whatever.

The hotel is a little older but that is in its charm.
It had all of the necessities of the newer hotels but
at much more reasonable price.

Our stay at the King Charles Inn was most pleasant. The
front desk staff was fabulous, and was instantly able
to answer any questions we had. The housekeeping staff
likewise did a very good job. The room was wonderfully
spacious, and the balcony was lovely. Your hotel is in
a great location for exploring historical places and
shopping in Charleston!
