I understand you provide complimentary on-site parking. What time can I leave my car in your lot on the day of departure?
What time can I check in?
Check-in is at 4:00 pm. Should you arrive early, we will happily store your luggage. When your room is ready, we will give you a call on your cellphone.
What time is check out?
Checkout is at 11:00am. Luggage storage is available if you want to spend some more time in our Holy City.
Do you serve breakfast?
Yes. Our hours are 6:30am - 10:30am Monday - Friday and 7:00am - 11:00am on Saturday and Sunday.
Is breakfast complimentary?
We offer an a la carte menu at a reasonable price.
Do you serve lunch or dinner?
No, we do not serve lunch or dinner, but there are many incredible restaurants within walking distance of the Inn. Contact our front desk and we'll be happy to share our recommendations.
Do you provide room service?
We do not provide room service at the Inn. Feel free to contact us at the front desk and we will recommend a variety of delivery options.
What time does your Bar Open?
BREW is open from 3:00pm -11:00pm daily.
What do you offer during Happy Hour?
We offer complimentary assorted crackers, artisan cheeses, fruit and discounted wine and beer.
Where is the fitness center located and what are the hours?
Pivotal Fitness is located adjacent to the hotel on Wentworth Street. Hours do vary but the gym is available seven days a week. Visit us at the front desk for your daily pass and updated hours.
Do you have event or meeting space?
We have had great success with our offsite venues all within easy walk distance. Please contact our Director of Sales at 843-723-7451 for more information.
Do you have a complimentary shuttle from the Airport?
No, we do not offer transportation services, but when arriving at the airport, you will find a multitude of transportation options including Taxis, Vans and Ubers.
How far is the hotel from the airport?
How close are you to the beach?
Both Sullivan's Island and Folly Beach are located just 10 miles from the hotel.
Is there a view from my room?
Being a downtown hotel, you will find most of our guestrooms overlook the interior parking courtyard or the street side.
What is the weather like in Charleston during the year?
It varies depending on the season. Feel free to contact the hotel for more specific information.
What is the closest airport?
The closest airport to the King Charles Inn is the Charleston International Airport (CHS). The airport is a short 12 miles from the hotel.
Are you pet-friendly?
We feel that pets are most comfortable in their own homes.
Are there guest rooms that are ADA compliant?

Is there an onsite business center?
We have a business center that offers complimentary computer use, basic printing services, and incoming and outgoing faxes.

What is the cancellation policy?
The cancellation policy requires 3-days notice prior to arrival. Any cancellations within 3 days of arrival will result in one night’s room and tax charged to the credit card on file.
